Hardwood Flooring and Water Loss in San Antonio

In a San Antonio home, when standing water soaks into hardwood flooring for several weeks, the chances of salvaging the floorboards is minimal. Our SERVPRO of Braun Station skilled technicians went against the odds, set up air movers and dehumidification equipment and did dry out the wet flooring. The Before Photo illustrates buckling which required heavy sanding to achieve a flat surface, safe for walking. Unfortunately, it was too thin to reach our goal of salvaging the floorboards and saving our customers money and disruptions to their home life.
